Geronimo’s, Ltd., Nantucket’s pet supply and gift shop, opened in May, 1991, shortly after Jan Jaeger arrived on Nantucket with her husband Fred, their Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Geronimo, and two cats. Finding no sources for the pet products she had become accustomed to purchasing in her former home near Denver, Colorado, she decided to open a shop.

After 20 years, Geronimo’s has become a fixture of the Nantucket retail scene, a dependable resource for those beloved companion animals and a must-stop location for anyone visiting the island. By listening to our customers, attending trade shows each year and keeping up with trade publications, we bring to Geronimo’s a comprehensive mix of both the practical standards as well as the latest trends in pet supplies and pet-themed gifts for people.
